Earlier I posted a how to on removing an engine without removing the tracks frames.
Always looking to save time, so here's another 'cheat' ;D
This set of tracks is superb but the track pin looked like it was going to be a difficult one. I did not have my torch with me and I don't have a press.
Previous owner had ruined the track adjustment screws using grips instead of a wrench, so I figured I could cut that to give room for the front idler to slip back.
Next, after pushing the idler backwards, using a tire-iron technique I could free up the track from the front idler.
Then start same with rear sprocket
When I got to the bottom of the sprocket it kept moving backwards, so I had to block it with grips.
Once the idler and the sprocket were free all that remained was to lift the track frames and rollers off the bottom track links.

I am hoping to get the tracks back onto another machine by doing the same steps in reverse order, backing the adjustment screw all the way in to start and then out again at the end!
