Post by: ozzy on July 21, 2003, 01:16:48 AM
Hi again, A nother problem I was having was the tractor would shake & jump. Like the Bearings were binding and unbinding. And i mean bad you cant hardly stand it. Ill know more after i get the other side apart as the right side is alot sloppier than the left was. Did any one have the shking & jumping problem?    Thanks Again    OZZY

When the bearings in my final drives wore to the point the sprockets wobbled, the chains would climb and release causing the machine to jump. If you are re-building your finals, that should take care of it. You'll see scratch marks on the sprocket teeth if this is indeed the case.

Thomas,      I was thinking it was something like that. the rihgt side was really bad. The studs in the hub are all loose and breaking. And the hub has already been reworked. Going to try Zimmerman for a good hub.                         Thanks OZZY
