Title: Weidely engine parts
Post by: erik on February 02, 2014, 11:15:34 AM
Hi
I'm looking for Weidely engine parts. Any parts is of interest especially the horse shoe type keepers for the valves and pushrods. Also parts for a "The Wheeler-Schebler Carburettor" model AT.
Thanks
Erik

Hi Bill!
First of all look at the serialnumber plate on the carburettor side, if missing you have the casting number "6010-A" for a Weidely engine and "6010-B" for a Cletrac engine. Look at casting date also, I know a Cletrac engine dated "9-10-20" marked "6010-B", that must be a very early Cletrac engine. They may have made engines simultaneous for some time. Start with this and come back with what you find.
Regards
Erik
