I am new to the site and looking for information. I just bought an OC3 that is not running. They bought a rebuilt mag last year and could not get it to run again so the price was right. I got it home last night. If I am correct the firing order is 1 2 4 3 with the rotor turning clockwise. So the top right wire is 1 lower right is 2 lower left is 4 and the upper left is 3 . I found the marks on the clutch and flywheel. My question is about the rotor to the gear. I am missing the page from my manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi '49,
Welcome aboard.
I'm sending you a three page document on IXB3 timing I received from Zimmerman's.
Good luck with the new machine.
BTW, I've always wanted to restore a 53 Ford F1. My first car was a '53 Sunliner.

Thanks I did get it. I actually got it to fire late last night. It is in the mag. i had to move the plug wires clockwise one position to get it to run. I set it with a light and have the marks right on now. Thanks again
Chris
Jethrow;
Any chance you can send me a copy of that document as well ? I'm having a world of trouble getting my OC-3 with an IXK3 running, even with a rebuilt mag. I'm sure I missed a step.
Thanks in advance;

The 3 page document is too large to post here so I sent it to your gmail account.

Thanks again Jethrow.
I've posted the Images on my blog, so that everyone else will also have access to them:

Thanks, gents.
Very clear - I've bookmarked all 3 (OC3 Mag install 1, ...2, and ....3) into my equipment bookmarks folder.
