Title: First start, coolent coming out radiator cap
Post by: Niko on May 06, 2017, 03:33:50 PM
Picked up and AG 4 with the Hercules engine. It started last year briefly. This winter was cold and out of fear of cracking the block drained the coolent. ( it was old and only good to ten degrees) This spring, changed fluids and rebuilt carb. It started but is blowing coolent out the cap. Well leaking is better word. Assume, head gasket needs to be replaced? Last year when ran briefly it didn't have that issue. Suggestions??? Thanks

it could have had some air or a wee bit overfull, I ran it a bit longer the temp gauge didn't go that high. will change the gauge and the sensor next. Thanks for your comment.
