Does anyone out there have any catches as used to secure the upper side panels to the bonnet. I need at least eight to complete two sets of upper panels I am having fabricated. I need at least one good catch to cast further ones from. At the very least could someone email me some photo's of the catches and some dimensions. Someone must have some catches somewhere, or maybe the same catches are used on other vehicles. If you know or have any information please let me know.
I'll just amend the above to:
I require one lefthand and one righthand catch for patterns or six of each catch if you have some for sale.
Since the catches and side panels are soooo hard to find, mostly interchangeable(?), and many members' machines seem to be missing them, doesn't that present a business opportunity out there for someone to re-produce them?

I live over in England and already have someone making two sets of upper and lower side panels. One set for me and the other for a museum. I will get a batch of catches cast/machined, no worries, but to do so I need a good catch for a pattern.
If anyone has one or wants a set of catches let me know and I'll try and get something sorted in due course.
I need one left and one right catch. Please HELP.
i finally have a set that has been cut off or at least the rivits have been so if you are still alive and my mormal e mail hasnt been getting to you or you are quite busy. i can get one or both sent to you for your patterns i still would like a set of top engine panels. how are you going to mount them to the machine do you have extra holders on the radiator allready and wont you weld or bolt the other ones on the firewall ? its cold here so i havent got your other measurements yet. well off to work i go if anyone would like pictures of stuff they are easy to take so let me know.
What model do you need catches for? I have some catches on the panels for my BD and live in England too so If they are the same as you require then I could lend you one to get a patern. Also which museum are they for? Sam
