Recently looked at two HG's both equipped with a Wico mag. What is your favorite magneto for the little hercules motor and or what are optional mags to the Wico. I am personally used to the FMJ4B3 mags that do a fine job on the Allis Chalmers B engines. Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. Orangeman!
My gramps said the Eisman mag was much better than a Wico.
My HG-68 with a Hercules IXK3 engine has a Fairbanks Morse magneto, an X4B14C. Seems to work fine for me. If you need parts, there is a guy that sells them from www.magnetoparts.com (http://www.magnetoparts.com)
