Title: What does your Cletrac want for Christmas?
Post by: John D on December 01, 2003, 09:11:01 PM
It's been quiet out there for a couple of days.  Now that we've got Thanksgiving behind us,

What does your Cletrac want for Christmas?
Has it been naughty or nice?

How about some new vinyl decals? I'm getting all the stuff set up to make them. I need some real clean graphics of the originals. And I need the details of what each model had originally.

Once I get some of these details worked out, I'll be making them to sell. Let me know if you have any suggestions. And I need help with the above information.

Take care,
Blake
Title: Vinyl Decals
Post by: John D on December 04, 2003, 02:26:38 PM
What a great idea.  I think they'd look great on top of a fresh coat of Cletrac Orange paint next spring.   The little gal would really like that.

Does anyone have a clear digital photo of the Operator Instructions decal that goes on the gas tank of the AG-6 (and others)?  Recreating those would be a nice project for us to work on during the winter months.

As to number of decals, placement and logo sizes (by model) - does anyone have any answers to Blake's inquiry?

i'm also trying to find out what the driver instructions were for my Oliver BD, I'm pretty sure they were the same as the page in the manual but without the numbers on the left.  What I'm not sure about is what it says on the top, in the book I can make out an oliver shield at either end of the first line.   I'm also looking into what the decals on the filters were?

I have a set of new decals for my OC3, bought them from a big antique tractor dealer in Sweden. Think he bought them from the States. The set contains eight different decals. "Drain here...", "Oliver", "Oliver", "Be careful shields...", "Oil level", "Service air cleaner...", "Oliver OC3"x2 and "Improtant (HC??? Tractors) Use clean fuel an oil....". Seems to miss the small "Oil daily" sign on the bellhousing.

My Cletrac wants its timing right.

I removed Erik's file as it was over 100K and wasn't even Cletrac related. I tried downloading so I couls edit it and put it back up as a service to Erik, but it crashed my computer twice. Please keep files on this forum under 100K, over even smaller if you can. A good rule of thumb is to keep your pictures on the forum under 8 inches across at 72 dpi resolution. Larger pictures are better for the Photo Album.

My E would really like a waterpump, I missed out this Christmas-maybe next Christmas. So Santa if you have a Hercules OOC waterpump in your bag and you don't mind carrying it to Australia, hang onto it until Christmas.

Well I didn't get them set up in time for Christmas, but I'm now offering Cletrac license plates. See the Classifieds page on the site. They're $10 each, plus $2 shipping in the US. You can buy two and the shipping is still $2. Be sure to state which style you want - with the oval or without.

I don't have my Pa vendors license yet, so I'm using my Ohio business address.

I'll also be offering vinyl decals for tractors in the near future.
