Looks like fun! Cletracs will go good in the snow. Just make sure snow doesn't start packing in the tracks or you can break final drives or sprockes really easily.
In 1996 we had 5 feet of snow in 4 days on November 11. I drove my E through it just fine - it ran right on top, only sinking in about a foot. I used to make maple syrup and used the E for gathering sap all the time.

We use our HG's for feeding cattle in the winter and light chores in the summer like planting and harvesting potatoes etc. and also take them to steam & Gas threshing, lumber sawing and farming shows in the area... I think it depends on what you are using them for as well as the condition of the ground underneath.
I can remember as a kid ours was down right dangerous with a loaded manure spreader and snow on top of frozen ground--those tracks turned into runners:o:o:(
