Title: 2-piece hood on an HG42?

On my HG42 I have a hood that came with it that is cut in two.  Any idea as to why this may have been done?

Well some one probably wanted an easier acces to the motor/sparkpluggs without dissmantling the complete hood. Here in Sweden nearly all hoods on the OC3 has ha small hatch (home made) which gives a much better access.
