Title: Dozer for OC-46
Post by: Richleon on March 22, 2004, 07:06:31 PM
I have a OC-46 with loader and would like to make a dozer blade to use under the bucket similar to the one built and on the OC-12.    Where is the best place to attach the push arms for the blade.   The OC-12 attached them on the outside of tracks.   The OC-46 does not now have a attach surface in that area.    For a OC-46 with dozer blade only, where do they attach there blade push arms   Hoping to hear from someone with some help here.   Thank You.........Richard

The OC-46 was strickly set up for a loader, it has a different sub frame then the regular OC-4. The dozer Oc-4 had several different hookups. The most popular one had plates bolted each side of the main engine frame with drop down brackets back near the transmission, there a 2" shaft ran from one bracket to the other and the blade frame was hooked to that. <p>There also was a blade that had outside pusharms and that pivot point was hooked to the outside of the track frames, a heavy plate was welded to the track frames with the pivot shafts attatched.
