Title: foot pedal on right side of E. Accelorator or Deaccelorator?
Post by: Relic on July 13, 2004, 03:44:19 AM
Yep me again. After I got the spark problem fixed I pulled apart carb and tore it down I have it soaking in a carb cleaner bucket. Hopefully wont be long till I hear that engine come to life. My question is I noticed the foot pedel. Looks like a regular foot accelorator
on top part of the foot step. I didnt look at it close but I do know that there is linkage that goes to the governor. Is this supposed to be on the E and what exactly is it? Looks well made as if its supposed to be there. Thanks,
Mike Purcell

not sure, but as a tip next time you want to clean a carb, soak it in white spirits overnight and the oxidation and muck should come off easily. Sam

Ps: never seen a accelerator mentioned on a cletrac before!
