Hello all. Greetings from Finland. Last Saturday I got home my Cletrac W. Engine stuck, missing carburetor, valve cover, side plate over push rods, radiator cap, both fuel caps, outer clamp for track frame. Push rods rusted though. Magneto is also missing. Can I use a Wico AP CW rotation mag? If any of the members here can supply the parts or some of the parts I would be very pleased. Trying to post a photo of the machine as it was found. Wow, your brave! I hope you can do something with it, I maybe able to help with a carburator but you will need to know what the one you need is. I also have various parts for cletracs, but no way of knowing whats what, if your after parts, email me a picture or description and I will have a look see. other wise zimmermans are your best hope, there realy helpful. I reduced the size of your attached picture and reloaded it. It's especially important that we keep the files small since the site has been sabitaged repeatedly in recent days and I have to keep backing it up. The attachment size limit is 100K. I know some are new to handling graphic files, but check the size under properties before uploading. Thanks.
The W looks like a real "project" and one I personally would not take on. I think to restore it in an economical manner, it would be best to find another W and make one out of the two. If you buy parts one at a time it is going to kill you.

Johan, yes my dad is 100% Finnish, so I am half. We have lots and lots of relatives in Finland. Our family is from the Ylistaro area in the western part of the country. My grandfather on my dad's side came to America in 1914. I have been doing some family history research and have quite a bit down now. It's usually a winter project. My family includes: Malkamaki, Wakkila, Wakkinen, Hissa, Kivinen, Kivimaki.

Need to do some snow plowing! I was lucky to get the tractor out last Saturday as it would have been frozen stuck by now.
Looks like you got some nice snow. It will be like that here soon enough. I hope it holds off a little while though as I have some trenching to do around my house.
We can easily get two or three feet of snow here at once. In 1996 we had 5 feet in 3 days!
My W12 has Cletra engine #W15441, no other tag. Has anybody got information on the year made? Thanks for any contribution.

My listing shows the w12 was made from 1919 to 32 with serial number starting at 13756 ending at 30971. The first models had Weidley-Cletrac engines with serial numbers starting at 43069 to 52123 the later models had Cletrac engines with serial numbers 101 to 19673. Good luck with your project!!
Hi all again, spring has come to the Arctic Circle even, and new sap is flowing! My W12 is now being assembled. I started the engine yesterday, run fine but no oil pressure. This morning I fixed the air leak and primed the pump well. Pressure was there right away over 30 psi, idle around 20. It was quite a project with a lot of missing parts. I got everything from ZimmermanÃ,´s. Landis being the real expert, helpful in every way. It is wonderful that there can be such a business and people! I still have to patch the radiator and check the track lock pins etc. Track rolls have new bearings so that should not be a problem. The W12 will be a real nice thing to have. I have mostly JDÃ,´s, (eight), and four Farmalls, but the Cletrac as the only crawler. I will post photo when driving, hopefully in a few weeks.
Hello, just back from a bit of driving the W. It steers well, engine responds good to throttle, track rattle a bit scary, but actually no problems at all. The only things missing now are the fuel caps. If any member has some spare ones, I would be your customer!
