Hello to all,
who knows if the Cletrac windshield wiper (American Bosch) has a on-off switch on the wiper motor? I think it must have, because no switch is shown on the wiring diagram in the manuals. Maybe someone can post a picture.

Hi Matt,
I bought a maintenance manual (copy) from Landis Zimmerman about 2 months ago, and a nos water pump from Jerry Biro when I rebuilt my engine. This was in the summer of 2000. Try both, everybody working on a MG-1 should have that manual.

Hi Matt,
I just read that you started your Cletrac in gear because the clutch was stuck. I recommend not to do that again, I did it once and bent the teeth of the starter motor sprocket. The Cletrac is too heavy for that. When the teeth are bent, you notice it by an irregular noise in the starter motor when starting the engine. I had to have a new sprocket made.

Hi Matt,
the original plugs were Champion 0-COMM.
1675 is the Cletrac part number for the spark plug gasket. The Cletrac part number for the spark plug was 125243. These numbers of course help nothing.
When I restored my engine (already some years ago), we found in an old Champion conversion list the replacement: Champion W10. I installed these and my engine runs well, drove it over 25 miles one day.

I am new to this forum, I have a Cletrac MG1 and maybe someone can answer my questions concerning the nameplate of my vehicle. See picture.
The serial number being 14JA062, what stands 14 for?
I guess "J" stands for Cleveland Tractor Co.and "A" for Army. Is that right?
What means A.S.C.REQ. ?
Does "44-3.AF" mean march 44, AF standing for what?
