ok, I think I found the injection pump fill, a little screw on breather cap, there was little to no oil in there, added some, but do not see a level mark, where is it or how much?  I am guessing the governor is just forward of the pump and the throttle lever connects here, where do I add to it or check its level?  going to replace the oil pressure and water temp gauges tonight to get a firm grasp on what its doing while running, this morning while cold it shows 20-25 psi at a fast idle, ok?  going to try and source a fuel and oil filter.
thanks Kevin

is it fairly obvious where to check the oil levels on thise two?  I am a lead tech in a motorcycle shop for the last 15 years and a A&P aircraft tech, but frankly don't know anything about diesels, other than theroy of how they operate. driving the tractor, no problem, just not familiar with serviceing it.

figured out the short lever is the pto engagement lever, just wasn't moving it far enough.  pushed dirt for about an hour tonight working fairly hard,  pressure drops off at idle when hot, checked to make sure it was pumping but it is low at idle.  do not have a manual as of yet, need to know what oil goes in where so I can get them all changed this weekend.   from what I read it uses 50wt non detergent oil in the trans and final drives, I am assuming the engine would be the same. how much oil do I need to buy? I think I read somewhere last night here that the finals hold around 8 gallons?    any standard service info would be appreciated.

I am just outside if Redding CA,  got a firm grasp of most thing
s on it, there is a lever just below the gearshift I don't know what it is yet? I was thinking a PTO engagement but it does not seem to do anything in either position, it is a short lever, maybe 6-7 inches.  will investigate further this evening and post a pic of it. the tag on the blade frame has the model number as BH-ADH , it has a American equipment tag from Oakland CA.

got it home this evening and made 4 passes down the runway I'm building in the backyard, accomplished more in 15 minutes than I did in  4-6 hours on my Kubota. will check out Zimmerman for the maual, does not look I will need much though, runs great and moves lots of dirt, just what I was after.

just picked up a 1947 ADH dozer, will get the numbers to verify, looking for a owners/service manual for it, starts and runs and all systems are functional. just going to do some heavy yard work with it. any helpful info would be appreciated, new to Cletracs.
