Just talked to Landis. The release valve is located in the valvebody. John you are right, the adjustment is that large hex nut on the left rear of the body. The filter is inside the tank attached to the 3/4 inch line that feeds the pump. That was the good news. When I started adding fluid, the pump started leaking like crazy around the shaft. Landis says that the pump is no good. There is no rebuild kits for it and of course he has new pumps for $450. Has anybody had any luck putting a different pump on an OC3 or OC4?

As far as the return line to the tank, do you mean the 3/4 inch hose that comes out of the bottom front of the tank?

Landis gave me a 3WI install and parts manual. Unfortunately it is for the early versions before they moved the spools to the top of the tank.They talk about it in the manuals as an overpressure release valve. I did not get one with my loader when I bought it.

One more question. Was there a release valve with these loaders? If so do you know where it should be located. Mine did not come with one.

Hi everybody. Finally put a 3-WI loader on my OC3. Just got all the pluming completed on the old girl. What is the procedure for filling the hydraulic fluid and getting rid of the air in the system I do not want to make the mistake of running the pump dry!

That was the last piece of the puzzle.  Time to put it together.

Can someone tell me length of the oil tube in a PTO? Also what does the end look like? Online I have seen everything Mine has this notch in it. It might not even belong there.

Unfortunately I have no way of knowing. I am thinking it is off by about a quarter inch. I have never seen a picture or diagram of where the handle should  lie in the slot. The only shim is on the cover on the other side. However it is only about a 16th inch. I think I screwed up when I put it together or adjusted it. I will say there is not a lot to adjust

Has anyone repaired a Carco SG winch? I recently rebuilt one and when I got it back together the lever rubs on the side of the opening. I have taken it apart and put it back together twice now. I have no instructions, so it is like finding your way through a dark cave lighting fire crackers Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about the late reply. I have been crazy busy at work. This is exactly what I was looking for. I will finally be able to start the seat build over this Memorial Day weekend.

There are no arm rests on it. Hopefully this pic explains what I want. The parts book shows it as "Seat Assy."  Part#113 856

Thank you so much for the quick response. However it is the wrong seat. I have this particular seat on mine now. Sorry I wasn't clear enough. I meant the seat with cushions on the seat and back rest. They came on the "Sidewalk" versions I believe.
