Hi, I'm from Germany and bought a Cletrac DD last year in Belgium. It's the one Ad Marian photographed and posted in the Cletrac Photo Album. It runs great and the sound is like Devils organ 
! The DD has a pony motor (Citroen 4 Cyl.; perhaps from HY). It's very difficult to restore this pony motor and therefor I decided to search for the original 24V starter. Actually I'm not so familiar with the Cletrac crawlers and therefor I have 2 questions: where can I find the serial number and where can I find a starter? Did they change the starter between 1937 and 1958? BTW: is it perhaps the same starter as in the John Deere 730 (Delco)? Thanks, Hanno
