I think I will try to just rebuild the motor in it. Going to just let the cylinders soak over the winter. The guy I got it from said it was one year since a rebuild when he got it. Then he used it for two years before it turned lose of a rod. He said it was not knocking. Just a pop when it happened. The rebuilder guy was already out of business. Wonder why?
I think it could had been easily reworked after it happened. Block looks good. But he had it in his mind to go with a six cylinder diesel and just let it set for four years with the head off and just the tin placed back over it.
