Wendell,

Thanks for your kind comments.  As you well know a lot of work goes into them.  If you find yourself in the upstate SC area give me a call.  Also let me know if you need any information or parts on the Cletrac.

Glad you found some of the valve locks.  I do have some of needed.  I also have a CCKW353 that is currently under restoration.  I am also fairly close it you in the Greenville, SC area.  You can contact me directly at cletrac.m2@gmail.com if needed.

VJ,

I don't visit the site too often but I do have a restored M2 that is close to 100%. I have a second for parts.  Is there anything specific that you have questions?  Love to see pictures of your progress.  Where are you located?

Rod,

Did you locate anyone with a Cletrac MG-1?  I am not aware of a restored example in the mid-west.  I have one but it is in SC if you are interested.

Any update on the canvas?. I am currently looking to have one made but do not have a good pattern.

Thanks.  Yes, please post dimensions and photos for the seat backs.  As for the bottoms I have seen pics of the bottoms and they are steel springs with horse hair and then canvas.  Should be three of them as with the backs.  I only have the pics of the side pads from the parts manual but nothing more.  I also need info on that if someone has those details.

Military Cletracs / Cletrac M2 canvas top

I am in need of a source for the canvas top for the M2 (HG1) Cletrac. Would also welcome a pattern to have one produced from.

I do not know if you have had plates made yet but http://www.nostalgicreflections.com/ have made plates for me.  They can do it from a photo with dimensions or if you have the original, no matter the condition, they can copy that.  They can copy it down to the imperfections in the original number stamping.

Unfortunately the price is quite high but the workmanship is unsurpassed.

I am in need of some information. My Cletrac M2 is missing the cover/door that is over the voltmeter for the 110 Vdc generator located on the right fender. I have located a new hinge that matches the original one and will fabricate a new cover/door but I need some one to provide the correct thickness of the metal used.

If anyone has a M2 with the original generator control box would be willing to provide this information I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks.

Does anyone have a set of M2 seat frames?  Either to sell or that can take pictures and detailed measurements.  Mine just has foam over plywood.
Thanks.
