More than likely you have a engine out of wheel tractor such as moline , Leader or BFAvery . They used dist. ign .and had hydraulic pumps mounted where the mag could mount .

I bought a crawler that had flow grease  {corn head grease} in the rollers and idlers .It does not flow enough to properly lube these . With the cold climate your are in I would not recomend it . It would be better to use gear oil .

The more worn the tracks are the tighter they will need to be . If the tracks are bending out the rock guards check your bottom rollers .A lot of times they roller edges become worn down because the rails get on top of the edges .

The Felpro sets come with gaskets to fit more than one type of Hercules IX motor .

The shift lever should be straight.

There is a later style rod that fits the OOC which uses insert bearings . I have torn apart several that had this done . The inserts are still available .

These engines will run with a little extra clearence everywhere and alot in many places .I have torn many down and was amazed that they still would run . Have the rod journals turned ,polish the mains and adjust with shims .If you need rod journal dimensions let me know .

The new theory in the automotive world is too make the engine run hotter ,leaner and use a lower heat range plug to cut down on emissions . Most high heat range plugs are becoming obsolete .Champion still makes a W20 but the last I bought were $7.oo each .The Autolite 3076 is close to a W18 and a lot cheaper .

Side panels and battery covers are hard to get . If this is a one owner tractor ,you should search the entire orchard for them .

I should of asked what guage oc3 you have . The previous reply is correct for a 68 . On a 42 you can bolt the supports to the frame and bellhousing and measure for the pipe length .

If you mean the part that runs under the bell housing to the main spring supports ,you can use a threaded rod with nuts on the inside and outside .

The OC3 will work well for pushing loose material . They will also dig hard ground with a small cut. I have one with Anderson blade that I have used for 12 years  for their weight they will do a lot.
