hello everyone,
I have 2 model bdh crawlers with heil blades, a 47 and a 52 both run well and are in good cond, the first question i have is are there replaceable oil filter elements available for DJXC engines to replace the brass screen elements, if so does anyone have the filter number.
My next question is in regards to the winch -PTO- access plate,is it the same size on model A as on a model B, and does anyone have a used
winch, carco for model B or A that would fit one of my machines, also the internal shaft, bearing carrier and engagement linkage for top of transmission cover.
This site is great for anyone trying to restore or use oliver -cletrac crawlers ,I have my eye on a mdel A with ware loader for my next project, if i ever can finish both model B's, the 47 has just been painted cletrac orange and the blade redone, the 52 engine was rebuilt in 94 with new pistons, rings and bearings from Mr. Zimmerman, should the 52 be orange or yellow or are either colors correct. thanks for your help!

I have had good luck finding filters at Car Quest.  They seem to be able to get almost everything.  I do not know if they are in your area though.  I got points there also.

1952 is during the transition from orange to yellow. if your radiator has oliver cast in it ,i would paint the crawler yellow.

Since you have a 1952 model I am going to ask this question. Hercules introduced the new Roosa Master Model A injection pump. Does your B have a Roosa pump or what does it have?

Thank you for your replies,
Actually both my 47 and 52 have oliver cast in radiator, not sure if radiator was replaced on 47 or an early casting change. The 52 djxc has a bosch injector pump,so should proper color be orange :?: was wondering if oc-12 machines had replaceable oil filter elements ,pictures i've seen seem to show similar filter housings. thanks again!

My OC-12 has a replaceable oil filter element, but I can't tell you the numbers now.
