Looking to find out value and availablity of a 6 way hydrolic front blade for an OC6 crawler.. or possibly a 6 way blade that can be modified to fit an OC 6 crawler.

Thanks

Dan, I don't think anyone made a blade for the OC-6 as it was strictly a farm tractor. You may be able to adapt something to it, but you'd be better off with an OC-4 or OC-9. Someone else may have some better ideas for you.

My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. I already own the OC 6 and I found some one that had a MF blade that , I think, can be modified to use on the OC 6 just wasn't sure of the value of the blade.

Dan,

I am designing a 6 way blade for Hg 42 through 0C-6, I an making all new mounting brackets my design is very simular to the new Catapiller D5H which can be seen at www.cat.com, this design is very strong and it fits the narrow width of the OC's.  I will have it completed on AutoCad by next weekend if you are interested I can send you the measurement.  If you have already built the 6 way can you send me some pictures.  mailto:t3customs@adelphia.net">t3customs@adelphia.net......Thanks.....Chris
