what tool ued to tighten fan belt????

Have an HG with water pump on a ixb hercules engine. The pulley is a two piece with two slip nut ,one on each side of pulley. What tool is used to tighten the fan belt, where available???

itÃ,´s a hookwrench. you could make that tool yourself, meshure the outsize size of the fan pulley and take a pipe of that same size,
and drill a hole as the same size on the pulley. take a axel put it in the drilled hole and bend it over the pipe about half
turn around an make a handle to it
Now you got youreself a tool.
use a good quality steel for the tool
