I have a 1948 Celtrac crawler, the engine plate is missing can anyone tell me the make of engine and where I can get parts.  Model #AG6H   engine is 6 cyl.  Distributer is in head.  I would like to rebuild this engine.  I would appreciate any information on this crawler.

If the engine is the original it is a basic F-226 Continental. Most parts for that engine are still fairly easy to obtain. I suggest that you tear it apart first and measure everything up before ordering any parts because it may not be standard everywhere by now. Questions send me a reply. I am not trying to sell anyhting but when I was with my previous employer we worked very closely with a shop that has been and still is a Continental engines distributor since shortly aftere world War 2. He does have some obsolete parts. Questions?

Check with a Larger NAPA store. They have a lot of Industrial Engine Parts available. If they are in their parts books they can order them for you. If the warehouse has them in stock, they can get them overnight.
