If I could buy a lowboy to buy in Utah or Colorado I'd think about tracking that one down!

Lots of Cletrac 55s were sold to the Soviet Union, so there should be some available over there. My gramps said the 55 was pretty much junk, so they unloaded most of them on the Russians.
My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors.
