AG-6 lower hose# and oil in clutch compartment

I need to replace my lower radiator hose and can't seem to find the right one through my local parts houses., Anybody out there have a good part# ?
Also, I just drained out about 6 quarts of heavy trans/differential oil from the clutch compartment. The clutch work fine but the hole in the drain plug with the cotter pin was closed with crud. It's possible the previous owner put oil in. I'm assuming he didn't and the lower drive shaft gasket and cover ( part# 141291) are good and not leaking. That would leave the upper drive shaft seal ( #60382 ) to be the culprit and need replacing.
So..... In simple terms how difficult is that seal to replace??  How high above the upper seal, when level and full, does the oil level go in the transmission compartment??
I'm planning on filling the clutch compartment and flushing it with gas, kerosene, or lacquer thinner to wash off any oil on the discs. Any suggestions on which would be the least damaging to the friction material??

If the clutch works fine, I wouldn't fill the compartment with anything. You could spray a liberal amount of brake cleaner onto the surfaces of the clutch discs and plates and let it run down through the drain hole. You don't want the clutch lining to absorb anything. Brake cleaner will evaporate quickly enough that it should not be absorbed.
