Could someone tell me if the Herc 3G head has core plugs in the top? Allis Chalmers used them in the top of some  heads and if they rust, water gets in the crankcase. Is that a possibility in the herc engine?
Die hard Allis Chalmers collector. But then I found "SCOOPY"

I don't think so, but I will check the head I have and let you know for sure in a week or so as it is at another location.
