would anybody have any idea where i can find a tillotson yc2b carburetor for a ixb3 hercules engine

it would probably be best to buy a replacement zenith carb. ,they are similar to the old tillotson .

I believe the Tillotsons were troublesome and hard to adjust. The Marvel Schebler is better.

My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. i agree the Marvel are much better carbs but with some of the earlier manifolds there is not room to mount a marvel because the carb. bowl will hit the magneto cap.

Walter,
Didn't they use an S-curve drop pipe on some of the intakes to move the carb back about an inch to clear the mag?
