I was hoping someone would be able to assist me in the idenification of my newly acquired Cletrac in Queensland Australia. The numbers I have found on it are
Stock No# C 249
Serial No# 2L 2616
Engine No# S 888997

Would anyone know the model and year of make.Is there anyway of finding out what oils are suitable for the engine, transmission and final drive.I believe it to be Hercules motor but are unsure of the HP.

Many Thanks Russell Condon

Russell,

According to the index I looked at (Yesterday's Tractors), it is a 1949 Model DD - should be a 6 cylinder Diesel.

Good luck with your new Cletrac!

If you want to do what you want to do, you have to do what you have to do.

G'day Russell,

If you haven't already found them, there are specs here for the DD

I have an Instruction Manual for the DD somewhere - I may be able to scan it for you.

I have a BD without an engine - trying to transplant a Perkins 6.354 into it at the moment to use to do a bit of cleanup on some land at Hattonvale. I am located in Camira - suburb of Ipswich.

Cheers
Dave
