I am looking for some help to id this unit for age and value.  My Father in law was a collector and has since passed away.  Can anyone help?

Unit has a blade -

That should be a 1945 model. As far as price ,that is determined by the condition and location.The type of blade will also effect the price[factory made or shop made].
