Can anybody tell me about a "AG8H"  I just pruchased one.  The serial number is 3X4704

Any help be appreciated.  I can't seem to find any info on the AG8H, only the AG6.  What does the AG8H mean?

Thanks
Robert

Your serial number is for a 1947 AG6.  There is no AG8!!  The A is for the tractor model.  The G is for Gas engine.  The 6 is used since the first AG had a 4 cylinder OOC Hercules engine. The later one used a 6 cylinder continental engine.  You have the later one.  The H is for Hillside model which is the wide track model.   Center to center for your tracks will be 50 inches, the standard model is 42 inches.  Weight 7120 bare tractor. It sold for $2946 in 1948!
