My right track runs off of the bottom rollers but stays on?

My AG 6H track comes out and the bottom rollers run on the bushings and pins.  This is a rough ride.  The left track seems to be tight but the right seems to be quite worn.  Does someone have the track specs so I can decide just how much wear I have?  I am considering swapping sides and run the good track on the worn side and the worn track on the good side unless someone has a better idea.  The book does not give track specs but  I have another book that shows how tho check track alignment.  If the right track is wide to the right it could cause my problems but fixing it would be a lot of work.

Make sure the track guides / rock guards are good and straight and either weld gusetts and or run tie bolts between the two of them to hold them tight together so they can't spread. If you have to take them off and weld a strip of steel by where pins line up with thick enough so it comes somewhat close to the pins. By doing this it won't let the track try to come off the side of the trackwheels.

 The tracks come off my BD and I saw the front track wheel is loose on the track frame. (only part of the proablem)

Oh by the way... They will come off that way LOL I know all about it! LOL You will eventually learn exactly what to listen and feel for so you can stop before they come off!

Do you suppose that it would hurt anything to turn the bottom rollers around and get the  higher rib on the outside?  The front idler is much more worn that the one on the left side.I thought about swapping sides on that also.  I might just build up the bad one.  The right track has been welded up on the outside to replace wear so something is not right.

Most of the times the center 2 are in decent shape. So if you took and put the center ones on the ends there wouldn't as much play there. I think it may help a little to switch rollers like you said but they may want to come off the inside then. Might be best to at least build them up like you said. The bushings on the main shaft could be bad and that doesn't help the track falling off.

When you tear it apart to work on it check for major play anywhere and fix it the best you can and it should work decent in the end.

Alot of times why the tracks start to come off is because you drive thru a little dip and turn then the track comes off the track wheel because there is no track guide there to stop it. With real good tight tracks there isn't enough play in them to do that. Switching and building up trackwheels will help a little but having good trackguides will help even more.

I guess my last try went to the bit bucket.  

I am not sure what track guides are.  Are track guides welded inside the rock guards?  There has been work done on the right side so the first thing I think I should check is the track frame alignment.  I noticed the nut that holds everything together is on upside down.  The track tends to run toward the right so the alignment may be off.  The right track is much more worn than the left.  I could not find the track pitch in the book so all I can do is compare it with the left.  I have a lot of things to check.

The thack guides are the rock guards. Just another name. Alignment does have alot to do with the tracks too so...

I finally got out on a warmer day and took some measurements and a closer look.  The right track is at least 1/2 inch wider than the left.  It has run that way for quite a while and the bottom rollers are worn on the right side with a step in the left side.  I will probably have to build up the rollers with hard surface welding rod.  The right front roller is quite worn and I will probably build it up also.  Just for insurance I think I will weld in some hard steel shims to kick the track over to the left just to keep it over.  It sounds like a lot of work.  I put new spark plug wires and points on it and it sure runs a lot better.
