Can ya'll help me identify the year of the Cletrac E-62 serial number 3A124?

How do you decifier the numbers anyways?

Haven't seen you on ATIS in a quite some time did you give it up?  Then again I gave it up in Feb. when I changed ISPs and never signed back up with new email addy.

Blake, I vaguely recall a discussion on this one a while back with you.  This E is a styled one.  I thought they didn't start the styled until 1937?  Or am I wrong....

Yes, I dropped off there several years ago. It just took too much of my time and if I didn't check it everyday, it really built up.

I think they made both styled and unstyled in 1936. There are two lines of serial numbers on my list that are identified as 1936A: 1A80 - 1A408 and 1936B: 3A000 - 3A246. I assume the first group is unstyled. My E is number 1A80 (the first one that year).

I am finding I don't miss ATIS. It was getting to the point if you didn't own an airplane or and Farmall Cub no one was going to have anythingt o do with you.
