Hi all,
Still working to free up the engine on my model E. Anyway I'm going to look at a parts machine today. It's an EHD2. My question is will I be able to take the plate off my E and take the pto off the EHD2 and bolt it right up to my E? How much more work is involved? They are about the same year.

It shouldn't be a big deal. There is a bearing on the end of the PTO shaft that goes in the trans case. There is also a gear to run it off the trans. I don't know if all tractors have it if not originally equipt with a PTO or not so thats also something else to check out. the shifter drops in place last.
