I am working on a 1954 oc-46 with loader and there is a small trans attached to bell housing. Some one welded the shaft and gears in it together so its direct drive to main 4 speed trans. Are there any parts out there to rebuild this? What will it do to tractor speed and such with the first trans being 1:1?

:)Hey bud, I have some manuals coming and will let you know if i can help you with your question, I also am rebuilding a oc46 that has 450 hours on the hourmeter, but they look like hard hours as it has some bearings to replace in the right final drive, no big deal though, also must hot tank the fuel tank at the radiator shop and build a skid plate for the pan, its pretty beat up, though not leaking. There are 2 different aux trans on the oc46, one is a slo-low, and the one like mine and I thibnk yours is a travel-reverser.It's a 1to1 direct drive or reverse 1to1 ratio. When you go into a load, you just clutch and shift the reverser and your in reverse 1st or 2nd gear whichever without serching for the reverse in the main transmission.Whatever gear you are going forwards in you go reverse in. If you pop the cover off the top and look down in there, if you have two idler gears in there its a traveler. One set is the slow lo. Someone else will have to comment on the slo lo for its advantages. As for parts, Landis Zimmerman is all I lnow. Good luck, Tim

The one on e-bay sure looks like a model A Ford transmission.
