please help how can i free off track lower rolers on a cletrac en track adjusters appear to hydraulic thanks for any answers :?  :?:

Bob

The adjusters are manual. There should be a cover to pull off to get to the adjusting screw. Put some oil in the trackwheel system and pound it with a hammer and keep working it. I have never had that problem with a Cletrac. All mine are worn out enough or have been used recently enough to not have it happen.

There should be just one nut on each lower track wheel on an E. I think each half (inner and outer) come off separately.

My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors.
