This is not Cletrac related, but I thought you'd all like to know. I wrecked my Dodge Ram diesel pickup last Monday - April 28 - on my way home from work. Some lady pulled out in front of me and I ran over the front of her car, smashing it to the ground. No one hurt, but it badly damaged my truck. You can see pictures
here. It's in the shop now to see if it's fixable.

Blake glad to see your OK, sorry about the truck.
Was there any chace that you knocked some sense into the careless driver?
Was she still able to talk on her cell phone?
Take care of yourself, go to the doctor even is you have only minor aches and pains from this.
Keep well,
Best Regards,

Well just an update on my 95 Dodge Ram.... I sold her today to the guy I bought her from in the first place. He's gonna fix her up.

I bought a new 2003 Ram 2500 4x4 with the High Output Cummins engine and 6 speed transmission. I really like the new truck. You can see a few pics here.

Take care all.

Glad to hear you are both OK--and have a new truck--even if it is a Dodge;);)

Would you expect anything else from a Power Stroke guy:P:D

BTW--the new colors are kinda snappy:D:D

The trucks look great, here in the uk most pickups are boring, we have a 2.5 diesel toyota Hi-lux and it wouldn't  pull your hat off! taking 4 cattle in the cattle box regularly brings you down to first gear on a hill and even into low box if its a steeper hill! what sort of power is the cummins in your truck Blake, I didn't know they made pickup sized engines.  We also have an Izuzu 4x4 van which has the Caterpillar common rail fuel injection on its 3 litre turbo intercooled engine, that pulls a trailer loads better, towed a cletrac BD 200miles with it at about 70mph and used less than a tank of diesel. They don't sell Dodge over here unfortunatly.
I live in England, got interested in Cletrac's when I brought an Oliver BD in 2001, I now have an Oliver BD a Cletrac BDH and another BDH for parts and have just brought a 1919 model H. I also have a british built Track Marshall 90.  Always keen to hear from fellow collectors.

I wonder why they don't sell the Dodge Ram pickups there?

This truck has a 5.9 litre turbocharged and intercooled engine with common rail injection. 305 HP and 555 foot pounds of torque at 1400 rpm. It's 4 wheel drive with the six speed transmission. It will get going and pull a good load, though I haven't had the opportunity to pull much with it yet. I just made a set of nerf bars or steps for it tonight - I put them on for the weekend until I get time to paint them next week. They'll rust a little, but not much.

The 95 Dodge I had had more power than this new one. It was like a race truck and would outrun most people on the road. Would leave a black cloud of smoke if I wanted to too.

The new truck does not smoke at all. Eventually I will soop it up and then it will smoke some.

For those who aren't familiar with these Cummins engines, the little 5.9 is amazing. With very little modification, they will outrun and outpull big block gas engines and stilll get close to 20 mile per gallon.

That a tractor size engine!!
not sure if its similar but lots of tractor over here use 5.9 litre cummins straight 6 engines.  It sound great, wish they did sell them here, I guess it maybe a bit big for our roads though.  I'm a bit of a fan of common rail type engines, I brought my car last year because its got a high pressure fuel system, its a Volkswagen with there own fuel system, its a 2litre diesel, but it will push you back into your seat and is good for over 130mph and you hardly need use the 6 speed gearbox. look forward to hearing more about your truck, bet it will pull some weight, what can you legaly pull? were restricted to 3.5 tons for non HGV's
