 I know bob has a 8u . Here a couple of photos of ours doing some stickraking .

Nice! I like the cable control on it. Yours looks a little newer than the one that dad has.

Hi Bob , I doubt if your dads is older . This old girl is a 1947 model . First year of the series build . Has an oil clutch  retro fitted though .

I guess it could only be months older if anything. I don't remember it's year, but I'm thinking 49. I'll have to run the serial number someday to find out for sure. I think the hardnose makes yours look newer thats all. Dad's has a LaPlante Choate blade and it just has a grillguard, no hardnose.

Hi Bob , I don't know about the US tractors , But all the Australian ones with Cable blades i have seen have the hard nose to mount the top Pulley block from . This is my Dads D69U, Photo is from 1974 ,so it is a bit iffy in quality .Not Sure on the year of Dads ,but it had a front mounted PCU .
