There are a bunch of Jensales parts and repair manuals on ebay.  Has anyone bought any of them?  Are they of good quality and good dissciptions of repair. Thanks  Bill in  CT.

Hi Bill , Going by the first Caterpillar D4 manual I bought from Jensales , I would not touch them. Photo , and ilistrations are poor quality .
I would keep watching Ebay for original manuals .

Agreed. Jenn Sales pretty grainy on the photos.
Ebay usually throws up most of what you could possibly want, given time. Or try Zimmerman's for better photocopies. Or Floyd County Museum.

I have even purchased perfect originals from the latter.

You will definitely be disappointed with Jensales manuals. Every one that I have seen was poor quality,, you can barely make out details in the pictures. Don't waste your money!!!
HG's (several) OC-3's, (many), OC-4, OC-46,
OC-96, OC-12, OC-126, Cletrac AD2
Cletrac DD, Cletrag AG-6
Many other Crawlers, Tons of junk

I hated to say anything, but seeing how everybody else has the same opinion I do, well... I suppose if you are desperate they are OK, but. To me they resemble copies of copies that came from some old copies.

Well, I guess I am on the other side of the ball on this one.  The manuals I got with my AD were Jensales for both repair and parts and I used them for fixing what the crawler needed without a problem. I don't have them right here to recheck but I remember them having decent pic's. I just bought a manual from Jensales for the injector pump on the AD since the repair manual doesn't get into it's disassemble and I was happy just to find a manual for this old pump. There are not to many pictures but what is there is clear.  I would say it was a nice reprint. It did  come with a guarantee for my money back if not satisfied. It is nice to have the original but a Good copy should work.

Well, I guess I am on the other side of the ball on this one. I got Jensales manuals with my AD when I bought it and they seemed fine for helping me fix it up. I don't have them here with me but as I remember they were pretty clear and I was impressed to have manuals with it. I just ordered a manual for the injector pump on my AD from Jensales  since the repair manual didn't get into disassemble of the pump itself. I was happy to find a manual for this old pump and although there are few pic's they are clear and I would say it is a good copy. It did come with a money back guarantee if I was not satisfied.  Original manuals are nice but so far I have had luck with these nanuals.

Mathew , The forum software is very touchy  on what it thinks is SPAM . I copy and pasted your reply ,So I will see if my reply gets put in limbo .

I guess it depends on the quality of the original they copy from. I am not prepared to risk it after the two manuals I got from them were so poor.
