Tillision P1B rebuild

Hello, I am in the process of rebuilding the Tillotson P1B carb, and have found two striped bolt holes in the float bowl. Will Loctite thread restore work. It's the bowl to the carb body mounting screws. I was curious if the gasoline will affect the epoxy.  Short of attempting to find a new bowl, wondered if this would work. Thanks.

Is there enough room/material to over bore and re-tap?

Not enough material, used JB WELD and two 1/4 inch studs. Thanks for your interest.
