valve adjustment

I still cant get my crawler to start. I want to check the valve adjustment but the book only tells me how to do it with the engine hot. Can anyone help me with a cold adjustment?

Use the  settings mentione hot but increase that by about .003 to allow for expansion.  You are making this too dificult. Two turns of the crankshaft set all the valves on a 4 stroke no matter if you have 2 cylinders or 20. Questions send me a U2u. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info. I hope this helps stop the intake i am getting threw the exaust.
