Just checking if anyone has found any good sources for IXB engine parts,.,,,,,Other than the high priced Cletrac guy from eastern Pa. I have no troble with rings, but need some pistons.

Do a search for Hercules parts. They were still in business until a couple years ago and there's suppliers who took over their parts business. The IX engines are not that old, so internal parts are probably available from sources that are not jacking the prices way high.
My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. I did do searches, came up with very little. Yes, there is a Hercules engine Co., but they have nothing for the older engines. I also found a few "bandits" who are hoarding some old stock Hercules parts, but $100 a piston? When the had an auction at the original plant in Canton, (5 years ago?) I guess that was about the end of any new parts from Hercules.

You might try Egge Machine  www.egge.com
They're probably just as expensive,  though. Or more so.
