Hello Cletrac group,

I am in the process of rebuilding an IXB and the water pump on this engine looks to be in good shape but I would like to have it rebuilt just to be on the safe side. I have had no luck finding any one who rebuilds these pumps. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Landis will either have the parts or be able to give you some idea of where you can find them.

He certainly could rebuild it as well--but they are not difficult to do.  The shaft needs to be pressed out but it is pretty much straight forward.

The shaft bearing and flinger are an assembly and have to be replaced as such.

There are two ball bearings on the shaft and the inner races are machined into the shaft.
