Hi my E has a bad manifold. the 2 outer ends are bad. the middle four are ok but missing center between mounting bolts and it would take some fabrication to repair. What suggestions do you have for me is there another manifold I can use or or that will work with a little alteration?
Thanks,
Mike Purcell

Mike, I don't know of any other manifold that will work. You'll just have to call around and hunt. You'll probably need lots of parts, so if I were you, I'd be in the market for a spare tractor for parts. Probably be cheaper than buying one part at a time. Your E has a OOC Hercules. The AG Cletrac also uses that same engine. There are lot of them out there, but you'll have to do some hunting. And hunting for parts is half the fun of this game.

There is a link to tractor junk yards all over the country on this site. You can use the classifieds too. It will take time to find everything.

Good luck.
My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. There a guy selling hercules bits on ebay, I haven't brought anything from him but I spoke to him to suggest an advert on here.  He hads lots of parts, it maybe worth trying him, I think he's advertising a waterpump at the moment, it says in his ad he has more parts. Sam
I live in England, got interested in Cletrac's when I brought an Oliver BD in 2001, I now have an Oliver BD a Cletrac BDH and another BDH for parts and have just brought a 1919 model H. I also have a british built Track Marshall 90.  Always keen to hear from fellow collectors.
