I just finished bending the shift lever on friday for my conversion, and just followed what was done in the pictures. it would be handy to have measurements of these bends. lets just say I am glad to be a machinist/toolmaker to get this all done easily. my question to all the folks out there that have done this conversion is about the bearing carrier used, if I'm using a model A fork, can I use the model A carrier? since it is a mate to the input shaft of the tranny? and I would not have to modify it in any way. any help would be appreciated....

I used the throw-out bearing and bearing carrier (new old parts) purchased from
http://vintagepowerwagons.com
(888-695-0578)

Throw out bearing # CC581499   $25
Carrier/sleeve # CC581500        $10
Pull back spring if you need it # C573318  $5
I used the Model A pull back spring, it's heavier.

No measurements.

Just make the bend as close to the top of the trans as possible. If you do a second upward bend, do it after all is assembled, so you know where you want it.
