I saved a clark Airbourne CA-1 from becoming a Toyota. The guy was going to sell some parts and cut up the rest. I just couldn't bear to see it happen so she is now in my barn. The original engine was stripped with head removed and left open for years. I'm looking for a Waukesha FC motor to replace the original. Anybody have one? Any other Airborn parts?  Thank you, Crux.

I havn't found a Waukesha fc motor yet. Please ask at the bone yards when looking for parts and talking shop with other tractor guys. Thank you for your help, Crux

Well persistence has its rewards. I finally found a waukesha fc complete motor for my Clark tractor. It was coupled to a 5kw kohler generator back along a fence line in a gentlemans yard. So far i have removed the generator. The motor tuns but not freely. I'll keep you posted on the outcome. Best regards, Crux.

My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors.
