Are there any people living that worked for Cletrac say in the 1950's? I am looking for some information . Thanks in advance.

Hi John,

Yes, there are many people who worked at Cletrac at that time still living. Most worked on the production lines and some may have only been in their 20s at the time, so they are not that old now.

I don't think there are too many engineers and management people still around.

My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors.
