Found a Cletrac today. Tried to read firewall plate but to far gone. Had bunch of crap piled on it and was unable to look it over thourghly.Has a flathead 6 cyc. and was told it was a Budda motor. Was about the same size as my AD. Radiator top tank was plain w/no Cletrac.on it.  Any  helpful identification marks. Don't know if owner will let it go.Has the reputation of letting things ruin befoe parting with. This Cletrac is rough but may be restoreable. Good for parts for someone. Lets ID it. Crux.

Remember the AG-6 is the same physical size as your AD and has a 6 cylinder flathead. However it is a Continental not a buda. Check some of the casting numbers on the block. Also on your stuck valve thing, when it cranks over and you have the air inlet pipe unhooked, will it pop back?

John,I haven't had time to work on the OOC mtr. yet. Will the popback be from the air intake or exhaust? What might this indicate? I don"t recall the motor popping back while starting w/mtr completly assembeled if that means anything.   If the new tractor is an AG-6 will any other parts interchange with my AD.I'm thinking ware parts like track, rollers, sprockets ect. I read the discussion on mrt. exchange between the cont. mrt. and the OOC mrt. I'm going to work on the owner of this tractor and try to save it. I'm begining to feel like the S.P.C.A. of tractors. I'ts all good. Thanks to all for help and support. This is a wonderful website, Crux.
