Hello,
I have a 1944 MG1. When the tractor was bought several years ago, my  misguided father put grease in the road wheels and front sprocket instead of oil. This was done prior to getting a manual.. My question is this,What kind of problem am I facing by this mistake? and what should I do about it now?
                                                                     Thanks Roger

I always use grease in the wheels on my MG1. If I use oil the seals leak too much. You can always pump in oil if you want and it'll mix with the grease.

I'd say, if you use oil to lubricate it from now on, it will most likely mix with the grease and flow throughout the bearing reservoir, giving adequate lubrication.
