Drug this thing home Saturday.  Now I have buyer's remorse.    I'm  not sure, after looking it over,  that it doesn't need a lot more work than I first thought.     For starters,  that bucket is a HUGE  PITA.   First thing I did yesterday, is build  a double "forked"  tube prop  to capture the bucket/ frame tubing and make a prop to hold the hoist up safely.  Trying to do ANYTHING  on the engine through all that framework is   very  frustrating

It's a little 100,  by the way,  an outgrowth  of the A/ Super A I guess

You cannot break it if it's broken,  but....
You can fix it so it cannot be fixed!!

Wow it looks like a PITA! I'm glad there is someone else out there that uses the acronym(?) PITA besides me and my dad! It would have been better if it were an Oliver, but the Farmalls are ok too. I think the 100s are kind of rare. they are a new style of the super A, which really had nothing super about them. That has always been my opinion of them anyway...

Good luck with it,

You're not a traitor unless you sold the Oliver / Cletrac to buy it!  We are allowed to have "other" brands, you know!

By the way, that Wagner Loader is a royal PITA.  I know - I have one wrapped around my Ford 8N, and can't reach a blessed thing under the hood - or even remove the hood to access anything.  Been that way for 20 years and I've managed to deal with it.

Looks like yours still is using the tubular frame as a reservoir for the hydraulic fluid. Usually they crack, and someone welds in a Northern tank, which adds to the problem of accessing anything.  Trust me!

If you want to do what you want to do, you have to do what you have to do.

Mt uncle just put one of those things on his 8n. He has to use all his might with two hands to steer it without the bucket full of anything on hard ground. I think it was even stuck backing out of the shop on the concrete!

Yup.  This thing is a little hard to steer.  I'm seriously thinking of adding power steering.   Anybody know of a good source for used "in the column"  type units?

I have a wagner loader on my 850, it is a strong unit but quite the workout when moving & piling logs, lumber & scrapwood!
I use the down pressure to lift the front up and turn alot, lol

440roadrunner

Unfortunately mine is single action lift cylinders, so no down pressure.   I've had a bad weed==couple of days my arthritis really flared up, and yesterday I just felt REALLY bad all day.   I'm set up to adapt my old Meyers blade to the loader,  and so far--no snow.
